Authors

 The list below is a collection of authors whose books I have read and found to be my favorites! I will update this list as I find more authors I like.

Brandon Sanderson  is an appropriate author, who writes with an elevated style; most of his books are not intended for children, but for young adults and in some cases, adults. He writes with little cursing and very little sexual content. His magic systems are very complex, and he builds the characters very well. 

J.K. Rowling is the acclamied author of the Harry Potter books, which are some of the most creative books out there. Rowling only wrote these books, though are one of a kind. She is very clean, there is almost no cursing, and there is absolutely no sexual content in her books at all. She did put some mild violence in the books, but otherwise Rowling is an amazing fantasy writer.

Rick Riordan , though a children's fantasy author, is the writer of the famous Percy Jackson series, as well as the Kane Chronicles, Heroes of Olympus, and Magnus Chase series. He has no cursing, no sexual content, and lots of magic and action. I would recommend Riordan for people under the age of twelve, maybe thirteen.

Francine Rivers is a Christian writer, who came to faith and wrote the Mark of the Lion books as a tribute to her newfound faith. She has numerous books, ranging from historical fiction to modern day romance. Though Christian, Rivers writes amazing romance novels with all of the angst and desire we all want, but none of the sexual content!

James Islington is an author who writes clean fantasy and sci-fi. Islignton has only published five books, three of which I have read, but they were clean and quite frankly amazing! He has no sexual content and very little cursing, but lots of action and magic. He is one of the most talented authors I have read, and a fellow fan of Brandon Sanderson's work!

Andrew Givler has written two series, the Ironbound series and the Soul Fraud series. I have not read Soul Fraud on account of the theme (Satanic and demonic), though the only released book in the Ironbound series is one of my absolute favorites.

Hugh Howey has written lots of books, though I have only read the Wool Series. He included very, very little inappropriate content in these books, though there was a lot of cursing. Howey is a very talented author, though his books are for young adults and adults.
