What It's About

Let the Storm Break is an epic finish to the Sky Fall series, and it continues to follow Vane and Audra on their conquest for justice. After someone betrays Audra in the worst way, she is taken by the enemy, Raiden, along with a fellow sylph and friend. Vane seeks allies to help him break Audra out of Raiden's prison, and gathers a small group of people to do so. Vane, Audra's cruel mother, Solona, and a twisted man from times forgotten form an alliance in order to free Audra, making for a great team.

Raiden has discovered a way to break the very essence of the wind, enabling him to strip it of it's will, though, and it seems to Vane that this new ability is much stronger than his. Echoes of a dead man whisper to Vane that he needs to trust the wind and do as it says, instead of conforming to the practice of killing the wind by using "the power of pain". As Vane struggles to pave a way to Raiden's fortress, Audra and her companion fight for their very lives, vulnerable to Raiden's torturous ways.

What I Liked

As I have already said before, the magic system is very unique and well designed, which I love, and the characters are very well created and developed. This book is definitely worth reading!

What I Disliked

I liked everything about this book, and have nothing to put here. :)

Conclusion

Let the Wind Rise is a perfect conclusion to the Sky Fall series, finishing the story with a dramatic flare. This book is one that should land on your bookshelf and stay there for a long time!

Content Warning:

There are a few makeout scenes, implications of rape, and mild innuendos scattered through the book.
